π« About the Role
The Delta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority at the University of Arizona is seeking an energetic, organized, and people-focused Live-In House Director to manage daily operations for a two-story residence housing up to 51 collegiate women and providing daily food service for up to 350 members.
This position blends hospitality, operations management, and mentorship, creating a welcoming, safe, and supportive home for collegiate women. The ideal candidate is proactive, personable, and thrives in a role that combines administration, leadership, and community engagement.
π§ Key Responsibilities
Maintain a safe, secure, and inclusive living environment for all residents.
Oversee all third-party cooking staff, facility operations, housekeeping, landscaping, and maintenance.
Manage vendor contracts, procurement, and inventory for supplies, repairs, and services.
Supervise and support house staff (chef, housekeepers, and maintenance personnel) with professionalism and empathy.
Coordinate routine and emergency maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with chapter and university policies.
Administer security systems and building access, maintain logs, and resolve issues promptly.
Review monthly financial reports, manage petty cash, and track budgets.
Collaborate regularly with the Housing Corporation Board and Chapter Executive Officers to receive updates, plan, and budget.
Support students with housing concerns, foster open communication, and help create a βhome away from home.β
Oversee the opening and closing of the house for holidays and semester breaks.
Maintain cross-functional communication with campus partners, alumnae, and vendors.
π§© Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 yearsβ experience in hospitality, property management, or operations management.
Supervisory experience with staff or vendors required.
Strong and proactive organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), Microsoft Office Suite, and web-based productivity software.
Experience with security system administration and routine facility maintenance preferred.
Ability to hire, train, and manage teams, maintaining high service standards.
Skilled in budget oversight, procurement management, and order placement.
Adept at cross-functional communication and stakeholder relationship building.
Comfortable working independently, handling confidential information, and exercising sound judgment.
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and manage daily stairs/walking routines within the facility.
High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree preferred.

Full-time, 40+ hour workweek with on-site living required.
